Explanation Number 4 - Battles
Now, a cool part about this game... Battles!
Objective of battle-> When you battle, the objective is to defeat your enemy in certain conditions. Normally, you have to bring down all the enemy Digimon's HP to 0, but sometimes there may have other conditions to win. If your Digimon are unable to attack anymore, then you lose automatically.
Types of battles-> You can have 1 VS 1, 1 VS 2, 2 VS 2, 2 VS 3, 3 VS 3 and 3 VS 1 battles. That means that in battle you can have only 6 Digimon max. 3 max per team.
Preparation of the battle-> Before the battle, you must show the Digimon that are going to battle and the respective equipment and Digichips. These items can help you during the battle.
Now, let's have an example!

Weapon: Makes the Digimon attack without any MP. Like a move, it has a range. You can see the x(number) which means the number of times it can be used during a battle.
Armor: It normally increases HP. Can sometimes reduces damages from certain attacks or even raise MP.
Accessory: The type of accessory with a wide variety. Can have all kind of effects. It can raise stats, reduce damage, prevent a certain status and so on...
(Don't forget about the Digichips. Digichips can also have different effects in battle. You can only use 4 Digichips in battle. You cannot use the same Digichips, however, you can have 4 Digichips with the same effect.)
Important: It is not mandatory to use equipment nor Digichips. Use them only if you think it's necessary.
Now, let's show the status of the Digimon plus the equipment and Digichips.

Now we can start the battle!
The Battle! When you're posting a whole battle in a post, you must use the spoiler system. Like this:
- Spoiler:
See?
To do a spoiler write [spoiler] Message here [ /spoiler]. Erase the space in [ /spoiler] so it can have the effect.
Now let's battle!
- Spoiler:
Now, the first one to attack is the one with higher speed. In this case it's Agumon. What if they had both the same speed? Just add the number of HP+MP+Speed and compare (including the equipment effects. The one with higher number would start. For example: Digimon1 has 20HP+20MP+20 Speed=60 and Digimon 2 has 30HP+30MP+20 Speed=80 so Digimon2 would start first.
When a Digimon has got x3 the speed than the other, then the faster Digimon can move twice.
So, it's Agumon's turn, so you have to say: Agumon's turn! Then you have to choose an action, you can make it attack with a weapon or a move. In this case Agumon will do Pepper Breath. You have to say: Pepper Breath! and then say how many EP Agumon has lost. Finally, you have to say how many HP Betamon lost.
Agumon's turn!
Pepper Breath!
Agumon's EP: 100-35=65
Betamon's EP:120-35=85
And it's done. Now it's Betamon's turn.
Betamon's turn!
Electric Shock!
Betamon's EP:110-25=85
Agumon's HP:120-30=90
Now it's Agumon's turn again, and the Tamer would like to use a Digichip and the weapon. Before his Digimon make a move, he/she can use the Digichip, so watch and learn.
Agumon's turn!
Digichip! Tiny Heal!
90+40=120 (MAX) <- (Agumon's Max HP is 120. It should 130, but when healing you can never surpass MAX HP/EP.)
Weapon! Common Sword!
x5 -> x4
Betamon's HP: Betamon's HP:85-35=50
Betamon's turn!
Electric Shock!
Betamon's EP:85-25=60
Agumon's HP: 120-30=90
Now, there's another action you can do, which is called Guard. Your digimon can guard only 3 times per battle. When guarding, the damage received will be reduced by half, but be careful with something. For example: 27:2 is 13,5 so you will receive 14 Damage. If it was 13,4 you would receive 13 Damage.
Agumon's turn!
Guard!
Betamon's turn!
Electric Shock!
Betamon's EP:60-25=35
Agumon's HP: 90-(30:2)=90-15=75
Agumon's turn!
Pepper Breath!
Agumon's EP:65-35=30
Betamon's HP:50-35=15
Now, Betamon's Tamer wants to active Betamon's talent. As you can see, it says that anytime, Betamon can stun the opponent Digimon for 2 turns. When a talent is activated, the Digimon cannot do another action. Talents like the one that Agumon has are always activated but it doesn't have any effect, since it's not fighting a Plant Digimon. So watch this.
Betamon's turn!
Talent activate! Stun 1!
Agumon is stunned for 2 turns!
Agumon's turn!
Stunned!
Betamon's turn!
Electric Shock!
Betamon's EP:35-25=10
Agumon's HP:75-30=45
Agumon's turn!
Stunned!
Betamon's turn!
Betamon cannot attack anymore... So Agumon wins!
Agumon Wins!
Betamon Loses!
And here is it. This is how you battle!
However, there are things that you should keep in mind.
Battles with more than 2 Digimon-> In a 2 VS 2 battle for example, you'll have two Digimon on a side and two on another. The thing is pretty simple, you have 2 "slots" in your team. You place each Digimon in the slot when preparing the battle. The important thing with slots is when it comes to battles with more than 2 Digimon in PvE. At the enemy's detail, you can see which slot they will attack.
Status-> There are some status that Digimon can have when battling. They can
poisoned. A poisoned Digimon loses HP every time it ends its turn. For example:
Digimon1's turn!
Electric Shock!
Weapon! Common Sword!
Digimon2's HP:100-35=65
Digimon1's HP:100-10=90
-> The effect of poison may differ. Pay attention to that.
->They can also be
stunned. When, as you can see in the battle, the Digimon can't move at all, however, the Tamer can use Digichips while the Digimon is stunned.
->Finally, there is also
confusion. When confused, during its turn, the Digimon attacks itself with the strongest attack, even if it's a (2E) move, it will only affect itself.
Weather/Arena Effect-> In some battles, you may be influenced by a special weather in some place or an effect of an arena. They can't be changed and they can bring you advantage or disadvantage.
Rewards->In some battles you can get rewards. So when you get a reward, you have to say it. For example:
BIT:2500+100=2600
Digimon1's EXP: 10+30=40 (LEVEL UP!)
-> Now, that's what I also wanted to talk about. (Yeah, I know, this explanation is long but really important.)
Leveling up-> When leveling up, the Digimon stats are increased. However, you can choose how do you want them to increase! Cool, huh? You can choose the Balance Growth, Resistance Growth, Energy Growth, Speed Growth and Move Growth. The talent stats however will never change.
-> After you have chosen the Growth, you cannot change it unless the Digimon digivolves. When the Digimon digivolves and levels up, you'll have to choose another Growth type. Why? Because after Digivolution, the Digimon will get back to level 1 (but easier to level up, though), and it's like a "restart". The growths are higher for each rank. So a Level 15 Champion will always be stronger than a Level 15 Rookie but always weaker than a Level 15 Ultimate or Mega.
-> You must go to Cherrymon's Library to see about the Growths. (EXP Section)
Pretty long, huh? Well you have finished this one.
